HI Kristin,
Just thought I'd drop you an email and let you know the difference I saw in my dogs.... My one dog is doing great. His fur is starting to grow back where he had chewed it off and his coat is great, nice and shiny and soft. It is beautiful!
The second dog I started out feeding FRR 100% but then I noticed the bag wasn't lasting as long as it should have, so I was mixing 50% FRR and 50% Eagle Holistic. Again he had the most beautiful coat but as soon as I started to mix the food, I noticed that his coat after about a week wasn't as shiny, more matted looking and dull..So as of today he is on the FRR 100% and I am going to donate the remaining bag of Eagle Holistic to the Humane Society!
I don't know what it is about FRR, but the dogs love it, and it shows in their coats, and they just seem so much more happier.

Kristn,
We received the FRR kibble yesterday as well as the lamb sample. I put both the FRR in separate bowls and their current Eukanuba in a bowl as well. I put all three bowls down and let my dogs pick. Maximus and Bishop both smelled each of the bowls and ate only the bowls with FRR in it, Bishop even took the bowl with the Eukanuba and dumped it all over the floor. I then mixed the FRR with their current food and Bishop would pick out and eat only the FRR – he is my most picky! I am so glad they like it!

I just wanted to let you know my dogs absolutely love their new
food. They have been on it for about 10 days and I am already
feeding less of the Flint River Ranch food versus what I used to
feed them. (and they still have "left-overs" in the dish when I come
home from work!). I have been telling everyone about the new
food and trying to get them to convert. :-) Could you tell me
more about the distributor program, your experiences, etc.?
Thanks for your help...

We are really impressed with the Flint River Ranch dog food! It was recommended to us by our homeopathic vet. Our dog was having some problems and we were just feeding a dog food from the grocery store. After switching dog food all the symptoms have cleared up. Her coat is so soft that everyone comments on it. (She is a Welsh Cardigan Corgi.) We also just adopted a part Border Collie that had been neglected. On top of that we got another Cardigan Corgi puppy. It's nice that they can all be on the same food. They all look great and love to eat!
Thanks,
Jenette B. - Rheinholds, PA
Hi Kristin,
The cats love the food and their coats are shinier than ever!! They are
eating much less of the food than they did Science Diet which is a great
plus and we took our very over weight cat to the vet and in a little over a
month, she has lost 1 pound when we have tried every type of light cat food
on the market!!!!
We are very happy!
Thanks!

Hi, Kristin. I've actually been meaning to give you some feedback but somehow never got around to it. In early January, my dachshund Maggie started having back problems. (She is an approximately five year old red smooth coat that I adopted from an animal shelter in July 2000.) She had been extremely healthy up until the back problems in January. After about a month and a half of crate rest and meds, her back was good as new, but I noticed that Maggie's spirits were down. She started showing signs of arthritis. I had her on Rimadyl as needed per the vet's instructions. She had her good days and her bad days. I honestly started to feel like I was losing her at this point because she just seemed so down when I looked into her eyes. I knew then I had to do something.
I thought about all the things I'd read about FRR on various pet message boards and websites, and I decided to switch Maggie from the Iams (that she had been eating for about five months or so) to the FRR. I also decided to start supplementing Maggie's diet with a glucosamine supplement and a flaxseed oil supplement. I assumed that these changes in her diet would produce some positive changes, but I was not at all expecting what happened.
Almost immediately, Maggie's energy level returned. Her coat became softer and shinier. Most importantly, the symptoms of arthritis completely disappeared. Maggie became Maggie again. She started running around the house again, getting into mischief. I didn't have to dread giving her Rimadyl because she didn't need it anymore!
The combination of the supplements and Flint River Ranch gave me my dog back again. This may sound overly dramatic, but I know that it is true. After our last trip to the vet clinic for a nail trimming, the vet was both surprised and shocked to see how well Maggie has been doing. (He had been ready to give me a referral to an orthopedist when Maggie's limping just wouldn't go away.) I am so thankful that I made the switch and added the supplements. I'm not sure that Maggie would be here today if I hadn't.

I want to tell you how amazed I am at this product. I have a middle aged, or some would say senior, female Pekinese that has been plagued with allergies for years. The $100.00+ blood tests that I had done some years ago indicated that she is allergic to house dust, mold, mildew, and on and on and on. I have spent a fortune on tests, medications and special foods for her. My husband and I had actually discussed, and this makes me cry now, keeping her on Pred as it did seem to give her some peace even though we knew it would slowly kill her (just masking the symptoms while not resolving the problem). You have to understand how bad she was and how much we love her to understand how we could even consider this. She was in contant agony, bite, bite, bite, shake her head, shake her head, shake her head, scoot, scoot, scoot. It was AWFUL! A good night's sleep for her, and us, was out of the question. We love her so much that we decided it was better for her to have 6 months, 1 or hopefully 2 years of a peaceful life than 4,5,6 or whatever of an agony filled life.
Now for the good news!!!! You posted on Senior-L about Flint, and I thought 'what the heck', at this point changing her food once again couldn't hurt. Thank God you posted and thank God I ordered! The change in her has been amazing. No more eye medicine, no more ear medicine, no more scooting, biting or shaking of the head. I really don't think she needs her oral medicine anymore as I have gone several days without giving it to her and she is doing fine. Another thing, she was always a real pig, and I do mean PIG! We couldn't seem to get her full. Not anymore. I put her food down, she eats a little bit then walks away. Not because she doesn't like it, she LOVES it, but because her hunger is now being satisfied where before it wasn't. I just thank you so much for distributing and posting about this wonderful food. I and Chamois (my peke)will be forever in your debt.

I must tell you, I do not intend to use anything but FRR. I had to put the
dogs back on Innova while I waited for the FRR (guess I should go on auto
ship). Anyhow, within those two or three short days my shep mix went right
back to having colitis problems. This food is everything the company claims. I
wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. My dog couldn't even handle
Solid Gold. Annie, my other dog, has stopped chewing on her paw too. I'm
trying the senior this time because they both have a problem with weight. If
I have problems I will simply go back to the lamb and millet.

Just wanted to wish you a very merry Christmas. My little Shitzu Nikki and Chiwahwah are doing great on Flint River food. They have been eating it a little over a year now. My Chiwahwah got off his allergy medicine only 3 months after he began eating the Flint River Ranch food. They really love it. I am so thankful someone cared enough to make this healthy food made of human grade ingredients for them. I only wish I knew about it sooner. Thanks so much!

Hello, I never send back feedback on products, but you were so concerned and were so helpful that I thought that I would let you know how my Balto reacted to the first bag of your Flint River Ranch.
As she is a four year old, 3/4 Timber Wolf and 1/4 Siberian Husky, she is very active and very sensitive to changes around her. Last summer when my daughter left to spend the summer with her grandparents, Balto went into a depression. We tried everything, including raw hamburger to no avail. By the time the 10 weeks were up she had gone from 58 pounds to just over 30 pounds. Since that time we have kept up our efforts to get the weight back on her, dreading the approach of the summer when my daughter will leave for another eight weeks. Balto is still under weight at only about 45 pounds.
Last month we bought a 20lb bag of your basic dog food. I was amazed that it arrived within three days of the order. Then the most amazing thing is that she eats it. All of it. In fact, I just ordered another bag. Her energy level is increasing to something more like where it used to be. We are even thinking of putting her back in training for sled pulling. Her coat is shiny, and best of all is that she has gained almost 6 pounds in the last three weeks!!!
The true test will be if she eats the second bag. If she does then I will
keep her on this forever.

I do have one question. How do I keep the birds from eating the dog food I put outside for my dog? Every year a pair of blackbirds nests in my satellite dish and this year they decided the FRR dog food is just the ticket for their growing babies. The whole family has learned to pick the food out of the dish and drop it in either her water bowl or her swimming pool to let it soften before they eat it. As you know, blackbirds are not necessarily the prettiest of birds and these in particular always seem rather scruffy. However, since they started on FRR, they are extremely shiny and you can actually see shades of blue and purple in their feathers when the sunshine hits them just right. I mean these are some good looking birds but it's probably the most expensive bird feed I've ever purchased!! Just thought you'd get a kick out of this story.

Kristin -
Thanks! It took Brisbane a while to get used to it (and I was also probably
feeding him too much to begin with), but it's certainly a vast improvement
over the Purina ONE that we were feeding him! Particularly the way that
stuff expanded in his stomach - it made him sick several times, and then I
did a "water test" and discovered that it expanded by about four times in a
single hour. Gadzooks, what garbage! In my water test, even
after an hour (as the Purina ONE blew up like a balloon) the Flint River
food did not expand at all, but simply started crumbling apart after a
while.
He actually seems to slow down and
enjoy the Flint River food, instead of inhaling it - pretty amazing for a
dog! ;)
Cheers,
Mike

Dear Auntie Kristin,
My mom said that I should let you know that we are celebrating down here. It's been approximately 3 weeks since Mom stopped giving me my phenylpropanalimine for my bladder problem. In all that time I only had one accident in my bed.
It was almost a month ago when Mom got the new millet based FFR. She thought she'd try me on that in the event I had a wheat allergy. She kept me on my pills for a week, but I still hadn't peed in my bed. The pills hadn't been working real great for some time. Then she took me off my pills too. I'm doing great and we just wanted you to know! Between my Pain Free ...now I'm on only 1 Rimadyl daily...and my dry beds I'm in great shape and my Mom is so happy that she didn't put me to sleep last year.
In case you would like to use my letter for a testimonial for the new FFR food, feel free!

If you start getting requests for dog food from Huntsville, it is because I have been bragging on the dog food. My 8 year old schnauzer, Pebbles, has never ever had a shiny coat....UNTIL NOW! I am not exaggerating. She eats with enthusiasm. She has always been one to "pick" at her food UNTIL NOW. Even though she is 8 years old, she does not seem to have gained weight on the puppy/adult kibble. Last night a friend came by the house that had not seen her for a couple of months and did not know I had changed her food. Right away she said, "What have you done to Pebbles? She is so shiny." She was right. It was right at a year ago that she had many bald spots along her back. That had mostly resolved but her coat has always been dull. There is a BIG difference in her coat, but most of all I enjoy watching her eat. NEVER EVER has she been one to act too interested in her food....Not now! Well, I wanted to let you know how happy I am. I will be ordering more as I need it.
Nancy L. - Huntsville, AL
We love the FRR....the only trouble is that now True has so much energy I can't keep up with him!:-) He is a rescue Rottie and he came to us in bad shape. His improvement on FRR has been remarkable! I'm so overjoyed to see him feeling...and looking...so good. Thanks so much!

Got our order of kibble and DryWater yesterday afternoon -- fed it for the first time this AM, mixed 1/2 & 1/2 with their present food, Eukanuaba adult maintenance. I have NEVER seen 6 bowls of dog food disappear so quickly. My 'smart' boy, Cyrus, who is a Dane Lab X (we think) actually picked around most of the Eukanuaba and left it in his bowl, eating only the FRR. The DryWater worked beautifully for my old girl -- she was so excited when I was putting the bowl down, she was about dancing. She gobbled it right down -- her usual pattern is to eat a little, lay down, wait around, eat a little more, and usually leave about 1/3 in her bowl. She cleaned up the bowl in short order. Thanks for such a great product!
Mary Beth A. - Yelm, WA
Just a note to say we got the sample today and fed the dogs tonight with it. My baby was so eager to try it when we tried the taste test that she didn't even eat her own food until she gobbled up the FRR first then proceeded to search around the bowl for more and couldn't find any. Thank you for letting us decide what is right for our true companions and part of our family. We can't wait for our order!
Curtis S. - Spokane, WA
I received the sample the day before Luke's first dog show in January. He had diarrhea and would not eat the food. He wouldn't eat anything. I put the sample in a kitchen drawer for future use. Being totally frazzled trying to get things ready for the show, I forgot where I put it. He has been completely off any dry food at all. He wants only "mommy food" and then, it has been a struggle to get him to eat. I have been ready to pull my hair out! He's 10 months old and I am very concerned about him getting the proper nutrients for his growing body. I've tried various foods and combinations of foods. Nothing has worked. Luke has never eaten plain dry food. I've always mixed something with it. Today, while cleaning out the kitchen drawer, I found the FRR. I figured, okay, one more time. Let's see if you'll eat it. He loved it! You can't believe how happy I am. And, he ate it dry. The ingredients look great. Just what I'm looking for. I'll be calling tomorrow to order. Thanks!

I'm getting back to you with news of B.J. (my finicky diabetic cat). He has actually been given a clean bill of health from my vet and is off insulin shots altogether now! He seems to like this new food quite a bit AND my vet was also very interested in your Flint River Ranch. B.J.'s "curing" seemed to have been taking place at the time he was starting the DryWater formula. She is wondering if B.J.'s new food has anything to do with his new condition and she said that she may recommend it to her other diabetic patients. Thank you so much for responding to the message I posted on Dr. Jeff's webpage. Who knows where B.J. would be or what he would be eating if you had not contacted me!!!
Jill R. - Iowa City, IA
I placed my first order yesterday. I did the side by side taste test as you recommended and was amazed. Bridgette (four month old puppy) gobbled up the Flint River Ranch sample and when she finished, sniffed at her regular food, then opted instead to lick the crumbs from in and around the FRR bowl instead. She did this three times before going back and finishing her regular food!
Lori S. - Marietta, GA
My pets are doing great on Flint River Ranch! My cats are maintaining their weight and their waste is not excessive. Their coats are the shiniest I have ever seen them be. My dog has trimmed down a bit, which is good and he has energy to go for our long walks. Thank you!
Tina M. - Everett, WA
My cats are loving the new food. I have a feeling I'll be ordering a 20# bag next time around!
Judy E. - Scanlon, MN
Got the sample today....thought I'd try it out. WOW! My dogs were eating their dinner when I walked over and offered them a sniff and a bite. Well, they quit eating their food and quickly chose the sample of Flint River Ranch. They looked disappointed that I didn't give them more. By the way, I tasted it and it does taste good! I'll be ordering from you soon.
Barb O. - Detroit, MI
I plan to send in an order. My dog seemed to tolerate the new food very well and did not have an allergic reaction like he did when I tried another new food. Thanks!
Karen O. - Knoxville, TN
My cat, who is a very fussy eater, loved this product!
Pat S. - Sylva, NC
Cat food - Wow!! A lady who is the receptionist where I have my office had a cat who she is always telling about and how it reacts to things strangely and does other strange things. My package of cat food came in yesterday. I opened the bag and put some in a baggy for her. She took it home. When I came in today, she came running up and said "What is in that cat food you gave me?" She said the cat has a changed personality, pleasantly so. And it wouldn't touch any of its other food. Where could she obtain more? I gave her my bag. I will be ordering more!
Dr. Linda R. - Indianapolis, IN
Thanks so much for the sample. I put the food in a bowl and just put it down. Daisy gobbled it up. I even took a little bite. Not bad, even though I have not had the guts to taste the other food. Ha!Ha! Anyway, Daisy is not terribly interested in food which I am told is atypical of labs. She really seemed to like Flint River and I like the fact of its being natural and none of the chemicals.
Jane H. - Glen Allen, VA
I am mixing the Flint River food half and half with my kitten's old food, but when he is through eating I notice that all he is eating is the Flint River food. He has certainly turned up his nose at the old food:-)
Mary B. - Hickman, KY
Thank you for inquiring about the sample that you sent to me. My cats loved the food! They smelled it while it was still in the envelope! I left it on the counter one night and they pulled it down and chewed the bag open.
Laurie K. - Elkhart, IN
Thank you so much for the FRR sample. Blondie loved it and so did the cats (which is unusual for them). It must be delicious - I was tempted to taste myself!
Linda G. - Providence, RI
I must say I'm starting to notice little changes in the "kids" on this new food. Once you start feeding a body, animal or human, with natural, digestible products, the whole machine is in better sync. Pardon the graphics, but Barclay, my golden, has always been rather bilious. His problem was especially troublesome sitting in the living room with him at my feet or his laying next to my bed during the night. The "Perfume of the Gods" was a bit hard to take in such large quantities...I just realized that he hasn't been 'tooting' lately. Gretchen was improving with that Enflmx I told you about, but now she's starting to act alot younger than her nearly 5 yrs...and very energetic. I'm very pleased to say the least! Isn't it strange how things work out...coming across your email about Jubilee Wafers while looking up displasia, and ending up with a great dog food. I think that is call synchronisity!!!

Yes.....Duffy our Shih Tzu liked both kinds you sent us very much!! We are going to order some when he finishes off the bag of Nature's Recipe that he has now....it is almost gone. Thanks again!!!
Melissa R. - Granite City, IL
I received the sample yesterday and fed it this morning. Before I left for the office the cat had already made two trips to the food dish, so I guess he likes your food. I will be ordering soon.
Donna L. - Danvers, MA
Thank you for the sample of dog food. My Corgi loved it. She never eats dry food plain, but she inhaled the sample you sent. I am going to put in an order with you this week and I have two more people who would like samples. Thanks!
Curry H. - Tequesta, FL
I have two large dogs, a german shepherd and a huskyXblack lab. I put the sample in a bowl and they almost ran me over trying to get at it. So it was safe to say that it went over very well. That's when I decided to order a 20lb bag. I just wanted to let you know that this is the first time in I don't know how long where I didn't have to put anything on the dogs' food to get them to eat. I've already noticed that Scooter isn't scratching as much, in fact just the odd time now whereas before it was often! I'll keep you posted on their progress. And I plan to signup for Autoship soon!
Donna W. - Noonan, ND
I have one cat who in his eight years of life has never eaten dry food. Well, he just totally blew me away when he gobbled up your sample. I will be ordering soon!
Melissa R. - Bowie, MD
Hi there again! I just came to drop you a short note to let you know what I noticed about my dogs. The fur has gotten so soft, no more dandruff, and Scooter has stopped scratching and chewing himself. They're both just like a couple of big Teddy Bears and best of all they just love the food. Thanks again for all your help!
Donna W. - Noonan, ND
I have been waiting to see if Perry took to the Flint River food before I wrote to you. After a very gradual introduction of the food we can now call ourselves a Flint River Ranch success story! We just sent in our order for a 20lb. bag of food and we are going to try the cat treats as well. Since we got Perry at the Humane Society a year ago she has refused to eat anything but the Deli Cat brand cat food that her previous "owners" (anyone that would give up a cat as sweet as Perry does not qualify as much of an owner in my book) fed her. The dyes that they put in that stuff were enough to scare us let alone all of the mystery ingredients. We knew we had Perry hooked on Flint River when she picked all of the Flint River food pieces out of her Deli Cat food and ate them first! Thank you for your help and for mailing us the sample. We are looking forward to receiving our full order.
Lisa C. - Ann Arbor, MI
I thought you'd like to hear this. Our dog, Henry, when he eats his food picks out the Flint River food and leaves the Purina One food. I find this fascinating!
David S. - Ladson, SC
Thank you for the samples of kibble and DryWater dog food. I usually have to play games just to get my dog to eat Eukanuba. I have to mix it with wet food, and even then I need to coerce him. As soon as I opened the sample of kibble, he went crazy! You'd think it was a special treat like steak or a chicken bone! I'm very pleased. Thanks again!
Shari Z. - New York, NY
Hello, Kristin! Yes, I received the sample and Thank You for sending it to me for my Yorkies to taste. As soon as I gave it to them they thought it was their "cookie" treat and wouldn't eat the kibble I had been feeding them. Then talk about mixing it in with their regular kibble, Ha!.....they picked out the old stuff and dug in for the Flint River Ranch kibble!!!!! I already placed an order the same day the sample arrived and we are waiting for the shipment now. I also ordered the biscuits. I am excited to be able to set up delivery direct to my home since I live in a remote area and I have to drive 100 miles to get quality pet products. Thank you for your prompt delivery of the samples. My Yorks thank you, too!
Terri A. - Sundance, WY
We have a winner! My cat, Cisco, likes the DryWater sample! I can actually see a difference in his coat just from feeding him a little four days in a row. Cisco is "talking" to me as I write this. I think he wants me to hurry and place an order since the sample is gone.
