DOG FOOD

Feed your dog once or twice a day. Have plenty of fresh water available. Food requirement varies depending on climate, breed of dog and exercise activity. Following are suggested amounts. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight.

            40-50 lbs.           2 to 2.25 cups
            60-70 lbs.           2.5 to 3.25 cups
            80-90 lbs.           3.5 to 4.25 cups
            100 lbs.             4.25 to 5 cups

It is better to introduce Super Premium foods by mixing with your dog's usual food and increasing the amount of Flint River Ranch over several days. It will take time for your dog to adjust to the Super Premium quality.

KITTEN AND CAT FOOD

Fresh water should be available at all times as your cat will drink more water when fed dry food. Super Premium foods should be introduced by mixing with your cat's regular dry food with increasing amounts over several days.

Young kittens may be started on Flint River Ranch by mixing with a little warm water. Feed dry as soon as the kitten's teeth are strong enough to chew hard food (8-10 weeks). Feed kittens 3 times a day - after 6 months twice per day.

Adult cats (1 year) can be fed once or twice a day. This depends on what keeps your cats happy. Your cats should be looking for food when the next meal is due. Teach them to eat at meal times. The amount your cats eat in 15-20 minutes is about the amount they should be fed at that meal. Adjust the food as you notice an increase or decrease in weight.
