One of the saddest days of my life was when my "little black shadow," Arthur died. He was my 12 year old Shetland Sheepdog. He died of cancer.
Within the last few years, I have become much more aware of the effect of nutrition on our health. Annie loved to explore on our property. She was not as fast as she used to be but she still went out "hunting." One day she came back with some burrs in her coat. Her energy level increased and she was even doing stairs again!
